This Northwest Territory ten-person tent comes complete with a built-on front porch, which gives the tent a house like feel. This tent is spacious, comfortable, beginner-friendly, and priced affordably. It’s a great tent to use during a long summer family camping trip and provides plenty of room for you and your family to move around.
Overview and Features
Considered a luxury family camping tent, this model has it all. Assembly is simple and takes only fifteen to twenty minutes.
While the tent does come with the patented every-dry coating designed to handle inclement weather and taped seams complete with a tub style floor, most campers claim that this tent is best used as a summertime tent.
Inside this spacious model, you’ll find a privacy divider. You can leave the divider unzipped so you’ll have more room, or you can zip it up and enjoy a two-room tent.
There’s also a large back and front door for fast access.
Six windows are covered in mesh. Inside there are storm flaps, which you can zip closed during rainy or cold weather.
The large mesh roof provides you with the perfect view of the night sky. The mesh will keep the bugs out and allows air to flow in and out, so you can enjoy a nice breeze while also eliminating the possibility of condensation.
This tent comes equipped with plenty of storage space. Inside you’ll find wall organizers that feature large pockets. There are also a couple of large hanging shelves.
Want to enjoy a leisurely night outdoors? Take advantage of the attached front porch which also comes equipped with an awning to block the sun or rain. The porch packs up into a small storage bag with wheels for easy transport.
This tent is made out of breathable polyethylene material that’s been treated with a coating designed to prevent the tent from leaking. However, while it is waterproof, it’s not a tent you’ll want to find yourself in during the colder months of the year. The tent does a decent job of keeping the rain and heat out, but it’s not a safe or reliable option if you love camping out in the winter months.

The polyethylene material is durable and designed to last and is rated as ninety-nine percent waterproof.
The frame of the tent is made out of fiberglass, giving it a more durable lightweight design. The best thing about the fiberglass poles is the fact that these poles are much lighter compared to aluminum poles that are used in other leading models, such as the Coleman Prairie Breeze 9-person cabin tent. Additionally, the included carry case makes this tent highly portable. So, if you often park and hike up to your camping spot for the season, this type of lightweight tent can be perfect.
Additionally, fiberglass poles don’t corrode or break down easily.
